A delightful story about aging gracefully. I loved it.

I enjoyed this book. As an older woman it encourages you that your life should go on if you loose a spouse. It gives you the belief that you still can be an independent person.
Manris
This is a great book for every lady over fifty.

I bought this book to try to find inspiration for my mom, after my dad passed away. I read it myself before I gave it to her and I found it an excellent read for any age! It inspired me to get out there and make the most of life, no matter what age and it helped me encourage my mom to do the same. Frances Weaver laughs at herself and encourages you to do the same, and I did, out loud many times. I recommended the book to all my friends, as we all are either one of the Girls with the Grandmother faces or we know someone who is.
I felt Ms. Weaver spent a bit too much time on the travel part of the book. And, I felt that the book might not be as motivating for those folks who have health issues that might prevent them from traveling.

If your children have moved out, if you have lost a spouse, if you have had any life changes but still have a zest for living, this is the book for you! The author presents a roadmap for not just continuing to live, but for living with a new freedom to do the things you have always wanted....and some things you may not have thought of yet. If you're over 55, read this book!

Also giving this for my Sister's 80th Birthday but I read it before and it describes her life perfectly at this time so know she will love it. It encourages people to not just sit down and expect people to come to you but go out and enjoy the world.DK
Great book arrived quickly
